DW Brooks Mall

D.W. Brooks Mall is replacing D.W. Brooks Drive , a former vehicular roadway in the center of UGA's south campus. Previously characterized by exhaust fumes and heavy vehicular congestion, the Mall now provides a safe and pleasant greenspace for students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Sustainable Design Features:

Elimination of impervious roadway and parking areas

Increased stormwater infiltration and improved water quality

Reduced urban heat island effect and improved urban forest

Native landscaping and efficient irrigation

Improved quality of life for south campus community
